About Me

- Location: richmond, TX, United States
I am a very industrious person, love to do my art, am always busy but I do like to relax and watch idiot tv with my knitting. Knitting is meditation for me. I have lived in Alberta Canada, New Jersey,and England and I have travelled as far as Yugloslavia, Norway and as far north as the Beaufort sea, as well as Alaska. I have mushed dogs and rode the subways of New York. (not at the same time ha ha) I am independant; I love my home and live in an old renovated cottage with a big lot and many trees. I am quite spiritual and I think it reflects in my art and gardening. Currently, I am working as a teachers assistant with juvenile children. I have a dog called DIAMOND, 2 roosters and 17 chickens. I love chickens ;)

Ha, you are surely deviant.
In a happy way, of course.
I raise ducks and am wondering how you keep your chickens safe from predators, especially during the winter. I have constructed a coyote and coon -proof duck pen and have had good luck so far. 2 years without loss of any of my 5 ducks.
I live in town .. on a double lot with loads of trees. No deed restricts! a hawk could not swoop down here... my dog is half coyote but so well fed and conditioned that she would never kill a chciken! thanks for your comment. I'd love ducks but 17 chickens is enough plus I have a separate pen for my turkey!
